Hidden in plain sight, behind a facade of avocados, No One Home is NYC’s home for the beautiful game ⚽

Our Story

No One Home started as a makeshift community in Kyle Martino’s basement. After his career in the MLS, US Men’s National Team, and as the color commentator on NBC Premier League Mornings, Kyle recognized there was a gap in the way the community that follows the world’s largest sport convened in the US.

So he started inviting people over to his basement in Greenpoint to watch games, hangout, network, and socialize.

5 people turned into 10, 10 into 20, 20 into 50, eventually his basement packed out every weekend. Coming into the World Cups of 2022 and 2023, he noticed a “For Rent” sign on a 3 story building in LES across from a street soccer court he and friends played on often. 2 months later, Kyle and a small team popped up a watch party venue in the former avocado warehouse to be the home for the World Cup in NYC.

5 people turned into 10, 10 into 50, 50 into hundreds. Lines wrapped around the block to watch games at all hours of the day.

His friends and colleagues took notice. The likes of Arsenal legend Lee Dixon, legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex and his son Mark Ferguson, former US National Team greats Cobi Jones, Julie Foudy, DaMarcus Beasley, Maurice Edu, and Jozy Altidore, and sports and entertainment industry vets Courtney Carter, Susan Sarandon, John Skipper, and more lent their time and resources to turn this popup into America’s home for the beautiful game.
